The story
Beautiful Art Deco Octagonal vase in fine earthenware with enamelled decoration with foliage dating from 1930. This unique vase comes from the heritage of Madame de Loisnes, a great fan of unusual and colorful objects. It is in her house of high Provence, that she liked to pick every week a big scented bouquet of lavender to decorate her outside table for the meals. Originally there were two similar ones but the second one was given to an English friend of hers who had fallen in love with fine French porcelain.
