The story

Like most items offered by Chambord, this vinegar pot is a “talking point”, because it is steeped in history! France is a country of traditions and craftsmanship and this object, which allows everyone to dose their oil and vinegar on a good salad, is a pretext to spend a practical moment, but also loaded with emotion! – Placed on the table, a vinegar pot might seem like an ordinary object (even if it is very “design”), but … it is made of blown glass! Blown glass is a multi-millennial technique that appeared in 300 BC in the countries of the Near East (Lebanon, Syria, Sinai). This art of glassblowing then spread throughout Europe thanks to the political and commercial network of the Roman Empire. Even nowadays, there is no very old glassblower because the trade is dangerous for the lungs.
