The story

It is in the open authentic markets of Provence in the South of France that one could see table services of an incredible originality. Plates, cutlery, napkins and pitchers of fabulous colors referring to the summer atmosphere of the south of France. The fauna and flora being incredibly diverse, through its mountains, seas and forests, the ceramists of the region could not but be intensely inspired – Paul Cezanne and his contemporaries remember their quiet and contemplative days in Provence. When they was not painting the surrounding landscape, they liked to furnish their sheepfold with objects found in the authentic markets of the region. Their dinner service was the most demonstrative element of their love for this southern region.

Stories do not necessarily correspond to reality. They are only given to illustrate a possible context of origin.
