Crystal Perfume bottle

This fancy decorated bottle was made to contain perfume for women of the high French society during the 20th century. The flowery and leafy motifs reflect the scent of the perfume.

Mary goes to the bathroom of her train for Paris. Facing the mirror, she takes out of her bag a lavish flacon and puts on perfume. She takes her luggage and gets off on the platform once arrived at Gare du Nord. She looks at the arrival and goes to the lane 7 where women and children are agglutinated welcoming men in uniforms. Finally, she distinguishes a familiar face. The man hugs her and detects a scent he hasn’t forgotten. It was during the winter 1945, while French militaries were repatriated.
