Collectible Pear-shaped vase with a high, flared neck in multilayered glass with an acid-etched decor depicting a village scene. Signed on the body.
The story
The pear-shaped vase sat on the shelf at grandma’s house, among the knick-knacks. It had a intricate design depicting a charming village, with its cobbled streets and stone houses. The windows of the houses appeared lit up, giving the impression that life was happening inside. It was an object that we admired with wonder with our cousins. Each one of us imagined the village that lay hidden behind its pear-shaped curves. Little did we know that it was actually a special village… It was the village where … was born, before the Great War. -This unique vase could well stand on the chimney of your best friend for his 50th birthday for example.
