The story
Baccarat is a famous French crystal house that has produced many exceptional and luxury handmade pieces over the years. In 1913, Baccarat created a series of crystal bottles called “Gardenia” for Houbigant perfume house, considered as one of the most prestigious perfume houses by the elites of the time. Over time, Baccarat continued to produce bottles for other perfume houses, such as Guerlain, Dior and Chanel, as well as for bedridden people who ordered them for their personal grooming as it could be the case for this series. The bottles have evolved with the trends of fashion, but the quality and know-how of Baccarat have remained constant. Today, Baccarat bottles are still highly sought after by collectors and perfume lovers.
