Gardens of the world in motion
The Cité Internationale with its pavilions inspired by the architectural styles of many countries is an enchanting place for walks.
Until November, the pleasure of strolling amidst its gardens will be doubly enhanced by the Jardins du Monde en Mouvement contest, which has brought six pop-up installations to discover in the 90-acre (36 ha) grounds. The programme includes a Lebanese soundscape; a denunciation of the pollution generated in the textile industry; asculptural insects’ nest; an inverted canopy; the “solarigraphy” of a maple tree; and anintriguing pool made of tiles.
